Wednesday Rosa Anna and I stopped off at Don Churro in Pilsen. If you like donuts, you’ll like churros! As it was already the middle of the afternoon, most of the churros were already set aside except for what was left in the case. The lady at the counter was very sweet and took the items that were already set aside and stacked them, so I took a photo of those, as well.
Churros at Don Churro are available as plain, or filled with cream, strawberry or chocolate.
They also had bunuelos, which are tortillas fried and dipped in cinnamon sugar. One huge tortilla sells for a $1, as does one churro. Prices include tax.
